The 3rd annual National Firefighter Combat Challenge was held on August 2nd, 2019 at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont. The event showcases the talents and skills of firefighters including hose dragging, obstacles, forcible entry, climbing a 5-story building, and more. This event also runs with the the First Emergency Responders Day with the “Salute to Sirens & Safety” event that was held on August 3rd, 2019 with displays of different types of emergency equipment. The event sponsored by 3M Scott Safety and part of the Boulder County Fair, which celebrated 150th years.
