Station 1 Open House

Grand Lake Fire Protection District held their annual open house On October 12th, 2019 at Station 1. This year’s theme was “Look. Listen. Learn.” with the be aware, fire can happen anywhere. The department incited the community to the station for food, tour the station and fire trucks, and life safety education. Kids got to meet Sparky the fire dog. Grand Wildland Fire Team, U.S. Park Rangers, as well as Chris Mullinex water rescue fund, were present to educate the community. Also, during the open house the department celebrated Larry Gosha’s retirement, 20 years of service.
