The Pine Gulch Fire was reported on July 31st, 2020 at approximately 17:15 and was located in Mesa and Garfield Counties, approximately 18 miles north of Grand Junction. The fire burned 139, 007 acres. The fire is the thired largest fire in Colorado history behind the Cameron Peak Fire, which has burned 208,913 acres in 2020.
