Pueblo West Deck Fire

Around 16:30 on October 11th, 2020 Pueblo West Fire Department was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Blaine Dr. on a reported structure fire. Enroute crews were informed by Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center of a deck on fire just feet from the home. Due to the cold front blowing through wind gusts were in the 40 mph range. Engine 833 arrived with nothing showing and investigated to the back yard. The corner of the deck was on fire and crews pulled a bumper line for fire attack and control. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and overhauled the deck confirming no further extension.
