Arapahoe Rescue Patrol

While emergency crews throughout the metro area kept busy on March 14th, 2021, members of the Arapahoe Rescue Patrol deployed in Arapahoe and Elbert Counties to assist with stranded motorists and other calls during Snowmaggedon 2021. 5280Fire.com caught up with members of the team about 11:30 assisting motorists on Parker Rd. at the intersection with Cottonwood Drive. ARP is a search and rescue team whose primary mission is to find missing persons, provide aid and return them to safety. The team has been providing free services singe 1957 and is committed to helping local authorities and emergency services whenever possible. The group is currently taking applications.
