Aurora Vehicle Fire

On July 25th, 2024 at approximately 18:30 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at the Summit Park Townhomes, 4207 S. Granby Court. Station 6 arrived on scene and found two vehicles and some shrubbery on fire in the center of the complex. Crews were on scene about thirty minutes extinguishing the fire. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Ironically, both damaged vehicles were parked illegally in a fire lane.
