On June 18th, 2021 at 16:56 Arvada Fire Protection District responded in the 7600 block of Simms St. on a possible brush fire. Battalion 52 enroute advised of smoke showing in the air from Station 57. Battalion 52 arrived on scene and found a vegetation fire burning in mixed fuels and in the open space between two canals with no structures threatened. Engine 57 and Brush 57 arrived and assigned with fire attack. The fire was put under control and out at 17:52 and crews started overhaul on hot spots.
