Arvada Garage Fire

At approximately 11:00 on November 19th, 2021 Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a reported structure fire in the 9500 block of W. 56th Place. Engine 51 enroute advised of visible smoke in the air. Engine 51 arrived to a working fire in a detached garage on the Charlie side, pulled a 1 3/4 hand line on tank water for fire attack in the offensive strategy. Battalion 52 arrived and assumed command. Crews were able to force entry into the garage, search the structure, and quickly extinguish the fire. Paramedics assessed two individuals with minor injuries at the scene. Crews got the fire under control quickly and started overhaul.
