Arvada Garage Fire

On July 30th, 2021 at 19:36 Arvada Fire Protection District responded in the 13700 block of W. 67th Circle on a confirmed garage fire. Battalion 52 reported smoke showing from W. 72 Ave. & Simms St. Battalion 52 arrived to a two-story residential with a working garage fire and assigned Engine 53 to fire attack on the Alpha side, and pulled 2 1/2 line in. Engine 57 pulled a 2nd line off Engine 53 with search rescue, fire attack first floor, and check for extension. Crews found no extension into the home. The fire was put under control at 19:50 and crews started overhaul on hot spots. The fire destroyed two vehicles in the garage. No injuries and the fire cause is under investigation.
