Residential Structure Fire

On March 1st, 2021 at 17:58 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure in the 900 block of N. Tucson St. in Hoffman Heights. Firefighters from nearby Station 2 arrived on scene within minutes and found smoke showing from the structure. Fire was found in the ceiling of the residence. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and spent about 30 minutes ventilating the building and mopping up hot spots. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
