South Metro Brush Fire

On March 5th, 2021 at approximately 17:10 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a small brush fire by the Cherry Creek Country Club golf course hole 17. Parties reported seeing 3 juveniles running away from the scene. Engine 21 arrived on scene to find a small grass fire on a island and assumed command. Engine 21 and pulled a attack line and Brush 21 pulled an attack line across the stream to put water on the fire. Fire was out quickly controlled and units went back into service a short time later.
