Colorado Springs Apartment Fire

On February 5th, 2021 around 08:30 Colorado Springs Fire Department was dispatched to 2001 Carmel Dr. at the Reserve Apartments for a possible structure fire. On scene, Engine 11 arrived to a two-story and reported showing from the Charlie side of the structure and began fire attack. Once the fire was under control crews determined they were able to contain the fire to the main hallway of the building. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation by the Colorado Springs Fire Department, Division of the Fire Marshal.

Initial assignment: Battalion 2, Engine 11, Engine 23, Truck 8 & Truck 1

Working Fire Assignment: Battalion 1, Engine 1, Truck 4, HazMat 14, Heavy Rescue 17 & 73 (EMS Liaison/PIO)
