On February 22nd, 2021 between 10:00 and 11:00 Colorado Springs Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of Constitution Blvd. and Tutt Blvd. for a MVC with possible trapped. On Scene, Engine 7 found a 3 vehicle collision with one vehicle on its side and confirmed trapped party. The assignment was then upgraded. Rescue 17 arrived on scene with Truck 10 and began extrication, while Engine 7 was assigned medical group with the on scene AMR units. Once the patient was extricated, both them and a second patient were transported to an area hospital. The collision is under investigation by the Colorado Springs Police Department.
