On August 9th, 2021 at 12:09 South Metro Fire Rescue Engine 31 was dispatched to an outside smoke investigation in the area of E. Broncos Parkway & S. Potomac St. in Dove Valley. Dispatched advised that 911 caller reported smoke coming from an abandoned trailer in a dry field off Broncos Parkway. Engine 31 arrived to light smoke showing from a small trailer at S. Fairplay St. and entered the trailer and found a content fire spreading into the structure. The fire was quickly controlled, no injuries occurred and although no one was found inside, the fire was human caused.
