Single Vehicle Accident

On May 29th, 2021 at 05:07 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to single vehicle MVA on Hwy. 285 east of Kipling St. in Lakewood. Engine 9 arrived to one vehicle with heavy damage, and one trapped party inside. Rescue 10 arrived and assisted with extrication of the patient from the vehicle. Medic 10 transported one to a local hospital in critical condition. The engine compartment of the vehicle separated from the main body and ended up about 200 feet away. Hwy. 295 was closed southbound during the incident and Lakewood Police are investigating the accident. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
