The memorial service for Denver Fire Department Technician Jeffrey Billingsley was held at Denver First Church in Cherry Hills Village on September 30th, 2021. Technician Billingsley passed away on September 20th, 2021, after suffering a cardiac event at work. Billingsley, 42, worked for the Department for over 19 years and was working out of Station 35 at Denver International Airport, Jeff was a member of the department’s Pipes and Drums and a board member for DFD Burn Foundation. A large procession was held after the service to honor Billingsley from the church to Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge. He is survived by his girlfriend, parents, brother, sister and nephew.
