Wheat Ridge National Night Out

The Wheat Ridge Police Department hosted their National Night Out on August 3rd, 2021 at at Hayward Park next to City Hall. The community came out to meet police officers, detectives, and members of special teams including the patrol units and command vehicles, police motorcycles. Jeffcom 911, West Metro SWAT Team, and the FOX31 Pinpoint Weather Beast were also on hand for the event. The purpose of National Night Out is to provide a fun, family-friendly event where kids can meet Wheat Ridge police officers and parents can learn about local crime prevention efforts.
