Jefferson County Communications Center Authority (JeffCom), is a consolidated communications center serving as a vital link between emergency services and the community in Jefferson County and Clear Creek County. Jeffcom911 works with local fire, police and emergency medical service providers to dispatch the appropriate emergency responders, as well as to provide support for public safety education.

Jeffcom 911 consists of these agencies: Alpine Rescue Team, Arvada Fire Protection District, Arvada Police Department, Clear Creek Emergency Medical Services, Clear Creek Fire Authority, Clear Creek EMS, Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado School of Mines Police Department, Conifer Fire Protection District, Edgewater Police Department, Elk Creek Fire Protection District, Empire Police Department, Evergreen Fire Protection District, Foothills Fire Protection District, Genesee Fire Protection District, Georgetown Police Department, Golden Gate Fire Protection District, Golden Fire Department, Golden Police Department, Highland Rescue Team Ambulance District, Idaho Springs Police Department, Indian Hills Fire Protection District, Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District, Jefferson County Fire Management, Jefferson County Open Space, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County R1 School Security, Lakewood Police Department, Lakeside Police Department, Mountain View Police Department, North Fork Fire Protection District, Pleasant View Fire Department, Red Rocks Community College Campus Police Department, West Metro Fire Rescue and Wheat Ridge Police Department.

Jeffcom 911 operates Central Fire Dispatch (CNF) for the following departments: Golden Gate Fire Protection District, Golden Fire Department and Pleasant View Fire Department.

Jeffcom 911 on February 21st, 2024 took over the emergency communications for all of Clear Creek County with call-talking and dispatch services including law enforcement (Sheriff/Police), fire and EMS agencies.
