Pueblo Chimney Fire

On October 16th, 2021 around 16:00 Pueblo Fire Department was dispatched to the area of E. 8th St. and Portland N. Ave. in East Side on a reported residential structure fire. Engine 35 arrived and found a house with dark smoke showing from the chimney. Engine 35 began investigating while Truck 54’s crew threw ladders to make roof access. The fire was found to be solely in the chimney and crews worked on opening it up from the base and extinguished from the roof. Ventilation was also provided to the house as well. Crews were on scene for around an hour. Additional information provided by Code 4 Photography
