Pueblo Kitchen Fire

On October 11th, 2021 around 19:30 Pueblo Fire Department was dispatched to the area of Cherry Lane and Thatcher Ave. on a reported residential structure fire. The Pueblo 911 Communications Center relayed reports from 9-1-1 callers indicating smoke coming from the home and an unknown source. Engine 37 arrived on scene and sized up a small single story single family residence with smoke showing from the Alpha side, took command and began investigating. A small fire was located in the kitchen and quickly extinguished. Ventilation was provided via a fan at the front door and crews rescued two dogs inside reuniting them with the family across the street. Additional information provided by Code 4 Photography
