Westminster Garage Fire

Around 13:40 on April 28th, 2021 Westminster Fire Department with auto-aid from North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to a structure fire in the 10400 block of Robb Ct. Dispatch advised of multiple 911 calls and a possible party inside with a dog. Crews arrived to a one-story single-family residential with heavy fire showing from the garage and pulled a 1 3/4 line in for fire attack. The fire extended into the attic space and crews set-up for structure protection to the adjacent homes. Crews worked heavy fire conditions before the fire was put under control and firefighters started an extended overhaul and investigation. No injuries except for one dog that did die in the fire. The cause is under investigation.
