Adams County Brush Fire

On May 10th, 2022 at 12:24 Adams County Fire Rescue Medic 12 advised of smoke showing from W. 55th Ave. and Federal Blvd. and started the investigation. Medic 12 updated dispatch of a brush fire close to Lowell Blvd and requested additional resources. Brush 13 arrived to 100×100 foot grass fire near the area of W. 55th Ave. and Lowell Blvd. and pulled a line in for fire attack with Medic 12 and Engine 12. Battalion 11 requested additional engines for structure protection. Engine 11 arrived and assigned with structure protection by the power plant at W. 55th Ave. and Julian St. with Engine 1. Brush 11 arrived and assisted with fire attack off Lowell Blvd. The fire was put under control quickly with no structures lost and no injuries reported.  Additional information provided by Adams County Fire Rescue
