Adams County Kitchen Fire

At 16:01 on March 24th, 2022 Adams County Fire Rescue with auto-aid from Westminster Fire Department and Federal Heights Fire Department responded to a possible kitchen fire in the 1900 block of Sherrelwood Dr. in Adams County. Battalion Chief 11 arrived on scene to a small one-story residential structure with visible smoke from the Alpha side and all occupants out of the house. Truck 11 arrived and pulled an attack line in and Engine 11 laid in from the hydrant. Command assigned Medic 41 with medical and Medic 11 to pull a 2nd line off Engine 11 to the Alpha side. Crews made quick work with no extension and then ventilated the structure. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
