Arvada Auto X

The Arvada Auto-X (Extrication Workshop 2022) was held from May 5th, 6th and 7th, 2022 at the Arvada Fire Protection District Training Center. Auto X is represented by students from 34 fire agencies throughout Colorado and two from Wyoming. In addition to course work inside, firefighters rotate through nine pits outside, each of them representing a different extrication exercise. It’s great to see the abbreviations of different agencies on the backs of bunker gear in the pits. Sharing knowledge and training together across many agencies is an invaluable part of the experience. Arvada Auto X is made possible by a huge effort from many people, including the Arvada Fire Training section. National caliber instructors from Arvada Fire and other agencies pass down their knowledge and ensure every student is more prepared to respond to any type of accident.
