Residential Structure Fire

On March 17th, 2022 at 12:34 Aurora Fire Rescue Engine 10 was dispatched to a CO Alarm in the 19700 block of E. Loyola Circle. Engine 10 arrived on scene to a single-story multi-family dwelling with nothing showing. At 12:39 Engine 10 found a smoke filled unit and requested a working structure fire response and established Loyola command. Engine 10 pulled a line to the front door and started fire attack and the primary search. Crews found fire in the kitchen area and was put under out quickly. Engine 6 arrived and assigned to bring a fan to the front door and conducted a secondary search. Battalion Chief 3 arrived and assumed command. Firefighters conducted overhaul and rehab with units returning to service a short time later.
