Broomfield Wadsworth Blvd Building Fire

On February 9th, 2022 at 20:31 North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to a structure at a landscaping supply business in the 11000 block of Wadsworth Blvd. in Broomfield. Engine 61 arrived to a two-story commercial structure with smoke and flames showing with defensive operations. Battalion Chief 61 arrived and requested a major incident tone and additional engine. Engine 61 advised fire through the roof, and pulled attack line to the Alpha-Delta side. Engine 64 secured the water supply to Engine 61, Engine 67 assigned with utilities and Medic 4 as medical. Engine 4 pulled a back-up line off Truck 62 to the Alpha-Bravo side, and the fire was switched to offensive strategy. Crews extinguish the fire and started overhaul.
