Grand Junction Shed Fire

At approximately 13:15 on March 14th, 2022, the Grand Junction Regional Communication Center dispatched Grand Junction Fire Department with a residential compliment for a shed on fire in the back yard in the 300 block of Cedar St. Engine 4 arrived on scene to a small 8′ x 10′ shed in the backyard, fully engulfed with an exposure on the Charlie side and stretched a 1 3/4″ crosslay for fire attack, and establishing Cedar Command. Ambulance 4 arrived and staged on Unaweep Ave. Battalion 1 arrived and took over Cedar Command while Truck 1 assisted with knockdown and mop-up. Engine 4 established a water supply a few houses down with a 2 1/2″ supply line. The fire is under investigation by the Grand Junction Fire Marshal’s Office.
