Denver 2nd Alarm Fire

At 03:42 on June 3rd, 2022 Denver Fire Department Engine 3 responded to an outside smoke investigation in the area of 22nd St. & Lawrence St. Engine 3 arrived in the area to find to a working vacant building on fire and was upgraded to a commercial structure fire in the 2200 block of Arapahoe St. Engine 3 started fire attack in the defensive strategy and requested additional engine and tower to the scene. Several master streams were deployed and a 2nd alarm was requested with heavy fire and partial collapses. Crews worked several hours before the fire was put under control. The fire was in the former Tony Capra Plumbing & Heating building. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by Denver Fire Department
