West Metro Basement Fire

On March 22nd, 2022 at 09:03 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a reported residential structure fire in the 6000 block of W. Lakeridge Rd. in Lakewood. Jeffcom reports that 911 caller advised that flames visible in the basement and everyone is out of the house. Crews arrived to a single-family residence with dark smoke showing from the Alpha side. The fire was contained to the basement, with smoke damage throughout the home. Fire was accidental, and caused by a candle that was tipped over.
