Larimer County Polar Plunge

The 2022 Larimer County 5K and Polar Plunge was held on January 22nd, 2022 at the Horsetooth Reservoir. Over four hundred people braved the 40-degree temperature to take a 3.2-mile jaunt through the reservoir grounds and a quick dip in the frigid water. Proceeds from the event benefit Larimer County Dive Rescue which is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. Larimer County Natural Resources, Larimer County Sheriff Emergency Services, Poudre Fire Authority, and UC Health were all at the event.
