Adams County Garage Fire

At 10:54 on March 10th, 2022 Adams County Fire Rescue with auto-aid from Westminster Fire Department and North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to a possible structure fire in the 1000 block of Dakin St. in Sherrelwood. Engine 11 arrived on scene to a small one-story single-family with a working fire from the garage and pulled a per-connect for fast attack. Truck 11 established the water supply to Engine 11, and Battalion 11 arrived and took command. Truck 11 assigned to pulled a 2nd line of Engine 11 to the Alpha side, Engine 14 with the primary search and Medic 14 as medical. Crews got the fire under control and out at 11:13. Two vehicles were heavily damaged in the fire. No injuries and the fire cause has been determined to be an accidental mechanical failure. Additional information provided by Adams County Fire Rescue
