Centennial Vehicle Into House

At 22:00 on August 25th, 2022 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a traffic collision involving a structure at the corner of E. Crestline Ave. and E. Prentice Dr. in Centennial. Firefighters arrived just 3 minutes later and found a vehicle had crashed into a home and partially collapsed the chimney. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital, thankfully no one inside the home was hurt. A towing company carefully removed the vehicle, allowing the Technical Rescue Team access to construct emergency shoring which stabilized the structure to prevent another collapse.
