Engine 1 Dedication

On February 5th, 2022 the Westminster Fire Department held their dedication and push in ceremony for the new Engine 1 at Station 1, 3948 W. 73rd Ave. The opening ceremony remarks were given by station Captain Lieser with Fire Chief Doug Hall. Captain Tice, the chaplain for the fire department, blessed the engine that will serve the citizens of the City of Westminster. The new Engine 1 was then wet down using water from the old Engine 1 and wiped down by members of the department and the community, then pushed in for service. Engine 1 is a 2021 Pierce Velocity (36158) with 500 gallon water tank, 1500 gpm pump with a 20 gallon foam cell, from Font Range Fire Apparatus.
