Adams County Warehouse Fire

On April 5th, 2023 at 07:50 Adams County Fire Rescue Engine 12 responded to a fire alarm at Wanco, 5870 Tennyson St. in Arvada. Engine 12 arrived on scene to a mega warehouse with a working structure fire from the Bravo side and with evacuations, pulled 1 3/4 for fire attack and upgraded the alarm to a working fire. Medic 12 arrived and assisted Engine 12 with fire attack. Engine 11 arrived and secured the water supply and pulled additional line in for primary search and fire control. Battalion 11 arrived and assumed command on the Alpha-Bravo corner. Truck 11 arrived and went to the roof. The fire originated in a bake oven inside the building and was quickly extinguished. One person was treated for smoke inhalation on scene. Additional information provided by Adams County Fire Rescue
