Aurora 2nd Alarm Structure Fire

On August 20th, 2023 at approximately 17:00 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at the Greensview Apartments, 16936 E. Alameda Place. Crews arrived on scene and found heavy smoke and fire coming from one second floor and one third floor unit in a multi0family residential structure. A second alarm was toned out. Crews were on scene about two hours extinguishing the fire, checking for extension and mopping up. One patient was treated with unknown injures and the cause is under investigation.
