Aurora MVA Rollover

On July 18th, 2023 at approximately 07:31 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a rollover MVA on Picadilly St. at E. 11th Ave. Engine 12 arrived to three-vehicle involved with extrication needed. Aurora Police investigations revealed that the accident was caused after a pickup truck was headed eastbound on E. 11th Ave. and attempted to turn north on Picadilly St. where the pickup truck collided with a dump truck headed southbound on Picadilly St. As a result, the dump truck crossed into the northbound lane, colliding and overturned onto a third vehicle. The dump truck driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the third vehicle was pronounced on scene. AFR remained on scene performing hazardous material mitigation and extrication recovery. Information is provided by Aurora Police Department
