Centennial Airport Aircraft Incident
At 18:24 on August 8th, 2023 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to an aircraft emergency at Centennial Airport. A Piper Arrow landed on Runway 35L and traveled a short distance below grade into a grassy area on the west side of the airport. Two people were on board when the incident occurred and thankfully, they were not injured. Firefighters confirmed there was no fuel spill or fire hazard before clearing the scene a short time later.
