Cherry Hills Village South Dasa Drive House Fire

At approximately 05:36 on March 13, 2023 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to the 4600 block of S. Dasa Dr. in Cherry Hills Village for a residential fire alarm. Engine 38 arrived on scene and reported working fire conditions and upgraded the call. Firefighters quickly completed a 360, forced entry into the home and completed a primary search with heavy smoke conditions inside the home. Once the fire was under control, crews checked for extension and began ventilation and overhaul. The cause of the fire was investigated by the South Metro Fire Marshal’s Office and determined to be from an equipment malfunction in the utility area of the home. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire and working smoke alarms alerted Dispatch of the incident. No injuries were reported. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
