Mountain View Structure Fire

On July 31st, 2023 at 22:50 Mountain View Fire Rescue and Lafayette Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire in the 1900 block of Morgan Drive in Erie. Dispatched advised 911 caller reporting fire and smoke showing from a home under construction. Engine 2601 arrived to a small to medium two-story residential with active fire from the side of the exterior wall and stretched a line in for fire attack and easbalished their own water supply. The fire was put out quickly by 22:08. No one inside the home because it was still under construction and no injuries were reported. The fire cause is under investigation.
