Highland Ranch Vehicle Into Structure
South Metro Vehicle vs Structure
At 05:16 on September 20th, 2023 South Metro Fire Rescue was alerted to a vehicle into a structure on Dunning Circle in Highlands Ranch. Engine 17 was the first to arrive and reported a vehicle had gone into a load-bearing wall. Firefighters from the Technical Rescue Team led crews in emergency shoring operations to stabilize the structure on both the first floor and the basement of the home. Both occupants from the vehicle were transported to the hospital. No injuries occurred to the residents of the home. Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the accident.
