Highlands Ranch Mountain Brush Circle Kitchen Fire

At 16:50 on February 2nd, 2023 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire with one person still inside in the 7100 block of Mountain Brush Circle in Highlands Ranch. Upon arrival, Firefighters observed smoke coming from the home and confirmed that the family had safely evacuated. Flames in the kitchen were quickly extinguished, all searches of the home were clear and no one was injured. Investigators determined than an accidental cooking fire occurred.
