In the afternoon of July 16th, 2023 Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, CSO, Nederland Fire Protection District, USFS, and AMR responded to Jasper Lake, located west of Eldora to rescue a sick party. Due to the remote location of the individual, RMR opted to use the Flight for Life Lift Ticket program to get them to the person quicker. Rescuers also went in by ground with UTVs.
