On December 4th, 2023 at 19:00 West Metro Fire Rescue was alerted to a possible structure fire in the 11800 block W. 12th Ave. in Lakewood. Tower 2 arrived to a RV 5th wheel fully involved in the backyard and fire extending to a small structure in the offensive strategy. Engine 2 secured their own water supply on W. Pleasant Ave. and pulled a 2 1/2 to the fire. Engine 3 pulled a line in and started fire attack and advised of fire extending into the powerlines. Medic 2 assisted Engine 3 and started primary search on the small structure. District 2 arrived and took command and assigned Engine 5 to established a water supply off W. 12th Ave. to Tower 2. Medic 4 arrived and assigned with medical group. Crews got the fire under control and started an extended overhaul and the investigation.
