Loveland Recycle Pile Fire

On April 17th, 2023 around 15:59 Loveland Emergency Communications Center (LECC) (200) dispatched Loveland Fire Rescue Authority to the City of Loveland Yard Waste Recycle Center at 400 N Wilson Ave. for a reported fire. Rescue 42 arrived to a large yard waste pile fire with heavy smoke showing and arrived and Engine 42 pulled the bumper line in for fire attack. Battalion 41 arrived and assumed command and Engine 41 secured the water supply. Crews worked the deep seated fire that required an extended operation to control and extinguish.
