Loveland Apartment Fire

On August 10th, 2023 at 07:48 Loveland Fire Rescue Authority was dispatched by the Loveland Emergency Communications Center to a 911 (LECC 200) report of an unconfirmed structure fire at the Waterford apartments on SE 14th Street. Engine 41 arrived on scene and reported a medium size two story apartment with smoke showing from the bravo side. Battalion 41 immediately upgraded the assignment to a confirmed structure fire, with additional resources dispatched. The Engine 41 officer completed the 360 size up and reported a working fire in a first floor apartment in the alpha – bravo corner. Engine 41 deployed an attack line to the bravo side for interior fire attack. Engine 43 secured a water supply to Engine 41 and pulled a second attack line. Command was upgraded to Battalion 41 and Chief 44 was assigned to the evacuation of the adjacent apartments. Tower 46 and Rescue 42 completed the primary search and initiated ventilation operations. Engine 61 was placed on deck and Engine 45 was assigned to stage. Thompson Valley EMS Paramedic 311 evaluated the occupant of the fire unit and stood by on scene.
