
Loveland Torrey Pine Place Garage Fire
Loveland Garage Fire
At 12:47 on August 5th, 2023 Loveland Emergency Communications Center (LECC 200) dispatched Loveland Fire Rescue Authority to an unconfirmed structure fire on Torrey Pine Place in North Loveland. Engine 41 arrived on scene of a single-story duplex with a working garage fire. Battalion 41 upgraded the alarm to a confirmed structure fire and assumed command from the officer of Engine 41. Engine 41’s officer completed the 360 size up while the crew stretched a fog nail line to the closed garage door, the fog nail nozzle was inserted into the garage door for fire attack. Engine 45 secured a water supply to Engine 41 and assisted with an interior attack line, while Rescue 42 conducted a primary search. Interior crews reported an “all clear” and that the fire was contained to the garage was had been knocked down/controlled by the fog nail attack. Squad 46, Tower 46 and Engine 50 arrived on scene and assisted with ventilation, overhaul and on deck resources. Engine 42 staged on scene and was quickly made available. Thompson Valley EMS Paramedic 371 evaluated one occupant from the home on scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation. American Red Cross was requested to the the scene for assistance.
