On May 29th, 2023 just before 15:00 Pueblo 911 Communications Center (City of Pueblo Police & Fire Dispatch) dispatched Pueblo Fire Department to 1020 W. 14th St. on a reported residential structure fire. The fire was being reported by 9-1-1 callers as a fence on fire next to a car port that was attached to a garage. After going enroute Engine 35 reported heavy black smoke visible from several blocks out. They arrived on scene and sized up a working fire off the alley near the garage and stretched an 1 3/4 cross lay for fire attack. Engine 35 was able to establish their own water supply to the hydrant on the corner and a secondary line was pulled as incoming crews began checking for extension. The fire was knocked down quickly and limited to the fence and some household items being stored in the carport area. Additional information provided by Code 4 Photography

Units on Scene: Chief 3, Engine 31, Engine 35, Engine 36, FRU 84, Squad 81 &  Truck 51.
