South Metro Vehicle Fire

On April 5th, 2023 at approximately 13:16 South Metro Fire Rescue was notified of a vehicle fire on Copperleaf Blvd. and E. Layton Ave. in Aurora. Engine 23 and Medic 23 arrived on scene of a fully involved pickup and pulled a line for fire attack. Crews were able to get a quick knock off of tank water and conducted overhaul of the vehicle. The fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
