West Metro South Holland Street Shed Fire

On August 15th, 2023 at 20:51 West Metro Fire Rescue worked on a detached shed fire in the 200 block of S. Holland St. in Lakewood. Engine 3 arrived to a detached shed on fire in the back of the house, pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack with Medic 2. Engine 8 secured the water supply to Engine 3. District 2 arrived and assumed Teller command. Aggressive action kept the fire from extending to the nearby home and crews started an extensive overhaul. There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
