Westminster House Fire

On June 11th, 2023 at 17:25 Westminster Fire Department with North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to a structure fire in the 2600 block of W. 118th Ave. Truck 6 enroute reported a header in the air. Westminster Communications Center advised a grill that caught bushes on fire between two houses and threating both houses. Truck 6 arrived to a two-story single-family structure with a working fire on the Delta side, secured their own water supply and pulled a 1 3/4 attack line for fire control in the offensive strategy. Engine 4 arrived and pulled a 2nd line off Truck 6 to the Alpha side and checked for extension with Medic 4. Truck 62 assigned with the primary search and check for extension in the attic. Battalion 62 arrived and assumed command and assigned Medic 62 as medical. Crews got the fire under control quickly with no extension into the attic space. One patient was treated on scene with unknown injuries.
